TREATMENT TECHNIQUES AND METHODOLOGIES

Our methodology combines traditional Physical Therapy modalities with manual techniques and exercises that are greatly influenced by APPLIED FUNCTIONAL SCIENCE. This allows our therapists to analyze true biomechanical function of the body as it relates to movement and activities. We are therefore able to identitfy and treat the underlying cause of the problem and not just the symptoms.

INITIAL EVALUATION

This is performed on your first visit by a licensed Physical Therapist. This will take approximately one hour. In this time, your therapist will assess your subjective complaints, establish achievable goals and perform a comprehensive evaluation to determine those contributing factors to your pain and limitations. This will help them to determine the most effective course of treatment. The patient will also be provided with an appropriate home exercise program as an adjunct to their care.
